Rocky Mountain Roundup 2016/17 - Week 5

Blizzard Set Attendance Record

2/9/17 – Week 5 was a big win by a landslide in every way for the Colorado Blizzard as they defeated Arena Rival Rocky Mountain Bighorns 11 to 6 in front of a divisional record crowd of 747 screaming fans who were treated to an intense battle on the field and honored Pride Soccer Club and the Mended Little Hearts organization off it.

Speaking of Arenas; Arena FC picked up their first win of the season in Golden and they took down the Strikers 8 to 5.  Golden, who are still looking for their first win of the season, have been in every match until the final whistle and are needless to say: are due.

The question remains, will this weekend be Golden’s as they host the Colorado Blizzard at the Golden Goal Sports Complex at 6:30PM Saturday in Golden.  Then the Rocky Mountain Bighorns host cross town rival Arena FC at the Soccer Haus Sports Arena with a late 9:15PM kickoff. Followed by Arena FC returning the favor and to finish their series with the Rocky Mountain Bighorns at the Colorado Springs Sports Center Sunday at 3:20PM.
